Rice flour - 1 cup
Yogurt - 1/4 cup
Onion - 1/2 (finely chopped)- Adding onion is optional.
Some cilantro - finely chopped (Optional)
Cumin seeds - 1/2 tsp
Salt to taste
Water as needed
- Put all above ingredients in a mixing bowl. Add water and make a thin batter. If you want to make soft ghavan, then keep the batter little bit on thicker side.
- Heat the skillet, and spread 1 tsp of oil on it. Pour the batter and spread it evenly. Cover it and let it cook for 4-5 minutes. Flip it and roast from other side too. Serve with batata bhaji/potato stir fry. Here is the recipe for - Batata Bhaji/Potato Stir Fry.
