Ingredients
1 cup whole wheat pastry flour
3 tbsp cocoa powder
1 big ripened banana
1/2 cup powdered sugar
3/4 cup milk
2 tbsp canola oil
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
some tutti frutti (optional)
1/4 tsp salt
Procedure
- Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F and grease the cake pan.
- Sieve wheat flour, powdered sugar, cocoa powder, baking powder, baking soda and salt. Add banana and milk together in a blender and make smooth puree. Take out this puree in a mixing bowl. Add oil, vanilla essence and mix well. Now, start adding dry ingredients little at a time and mix gently. Finally dust some tutti frutti in a 1/4 tbsp of flour and add in to batter.
- Pour the batter in a cake pan and bake the cake for about 35 minutes.
